- Other notes: salt & pepper diamonds contain inclusions and natural imperfections. This particular oval rosecut contains pits, inclusions, small crevices on the gem backing. Most of the rose cut settings I've made are fully supported on the back with metal or are hidden (a rosecut gem is flat-backed and all the faceting is on the front of the gemstone, so these cosmetic blemishes are quite unimportant to the look and wearability).
