✨ I worked hard to...

Go To Post     ✨ I worked hard to get these two new rings up on knotandsplice.com and both are now available (with resizing included up/down 2 full sizes for both rings...I feel confident in my abilities to now offer this service in-house for select gold rings). Ring sizing usually adds at least a few hours of labor (careful soldering, filing, and repolishing is involved the traditional goldsmith way which is well-made and created to endure☺️), so I hope this will give more options if you had your eye on particular ring but needed a different size. Being a one-person micro business means i have 1,000 things I want to do but only one set of hands and never enough time...so many of us makers out here are trying to do all the business things so we can keep creating from the soul. Both business tasks/creativity/skill building are required to keep things going, even though the artist in me just wants to create all day.▫️ . Thank you for your love and support. My little business has definitely been impacted a lot by c-19 (like so many others on IG across the world), but I keep making and creating from the heart and believing, holding onto hope. It helps me to remember the things I’m grateful for, putting my focus on the present moment and the good things in my life that are true, even in a season of the uncertainty, change, and pain.▫️ . Some things I’m grateful for: my husband, working on my health naturally and seeing some small improvements, my two silly pups June & Nova who keep me laughing and not taking myself too seriously (they really love apples lately🐶🍏), my little garden that reminds me that vibrant things can grow from something so seemingly insignificant, new watercolor paints, and getting to see my family for a short visit soon (it’s been 6 months since I’ve seen them and I miss them terribly). I’m also grateful truly for the struggles and losses I’ve had over the years...they’ve all taught me a lot about what is true and good and not to take life for granted. What are you grateful for? I hope you all have a wonderful weekend💛▫️ . PS check knotandsplice.com for these new pieces (and more to come soon)
